January 31st to March 1st – Twilight Symphony at the Castle – Casa Loma
Don’t miss a chance to experience live music in a new light with a series of intimate candlelit concerts in one of Toronto’s most magical locations, Casa Loma.
Twilight Symphony at the Castle features the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra under the artistic direction and baton of Maestro Paolo Busato. Guests will travel the 800ft tunnel below Austin Terrace to the Carriage Room for a one-of-a-kind performance bathed in candlelight.

If you are a music lover, you have probably heard of the iconic track “Bam Bam.” One of the most-sampled songs of all time by Sister Nancy. Do you know the story behind the iconic vocals?
In Bam Bam: The Sister Nancy Story, audiences will learn about the story behind the hit song and, even more so, the woman behind the voice. Award-winning filmmaker Allison Duke showcases performances, interviews with global artists, including Janelle Monae, Young Guru, and Pete Rock, and archival footage of the early reggae scene detailing Sister Nancy’s enduring prominence in reggae and hip hop.

February 6th to March 2nd – Born to Create Gallery Exhibition
Toronto-based visual artist and curator Chika Oh hosts an inspiring month-long gallery exhibition and curated event series in honor of Black History Month at the Stackt Market in Toronto from February 6th to March 2nd. The artistic “Born To Create” exhibition will showcase rich African history, culture, and creativity through art, fashion, hairstyles, and conversations.
The opening night kicks off on February 6th at 7:00 pm with an opening grounding ceremony led by Therapist Shanna-Kay Stephens. The special evening will feature a vibrant artwork showcase, a fashion and hair show inspired by African history and its influence on modern culture

February 6th to 9th – What We Carry
Native Earth Performing Arts, Canada’s longest-running professional Indigenous theatre company, presents an epic A’nó:wara Dance Theatre Production, “What We Carry,” running from February 6th to 9th at Native Earth Performing Arts & Aki Studio.

February 8th – 19th Annual Bob Marley Birthday Tribute
In partnership with Dubwise Canada, NuFunk Concerts presents Toronto’s longest-running Bob Marley Birthday Tribute – a celebration of reggae, unity, and community spirit at Lee’s Place.
Hosted by Kwasi Douglas & Patrick Roots, there will be a live performance from a 10-piece reggae band, Reggaddiction, and other special guests in attendance.

February 8th – Rhythm & Roots
Experience the best of both worlds as Awari, an adept botanist, and Lets Jaiye, a virtual kitchen specializing in Afro-inspired grazing tables, custom drinks and champagne wall rentals, hosts an interactive & fun event, Rhythm & Roots in Toronto on February 8th.
At this community-inspired workshop, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn plant care tips, create your own botanical piece and receive expert guidance from the esteemed botanist, Awari, all in a serene environment.
