The Scarborough Farmers’ Market brings nutrient-dense, reasonably priced produce, fresh fruits, vegetables, and lifestyle products to the people of Scarborough. Their vendors consist of family-owned farms, women-led enterprises, and ethno-cultural businesses representing the true diversity and richness of Toronto, the most multicultural city in the world.

Summer of Soca is one of North America’s largest Caribbean music festivals, taking place over three days at the vast Markham Fairgrounds. Each festival provides a different immersive experience.
Day 1 is a jouvert night: an expression of music, culture, and color. Day 2 is a carnival concert featuring an incredible line-up of Caribbean international acts and stars. Day 3 features two concerts, ‘The Chutney Concert’ and the throwback concert featuring legends of the Caribbean to provide Caribbean vibes.

The mas band competition is an integral part of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival parade, where judges evaluate performances based on costumes, energy, and creativity. The competition to win the best mas band is highly esteemed, adding an exciting competitive element to the parade.
