Canada’s largest celebration of Trinidad and Tobago culture returns to Toronto this summer, bringing the rich flavours, vibrant traditions, and unmistakable island energy of the twin-island nation to the city.

Running from August 28th to 30, Trinbago Toronto Festival will offer guests a weekend filled with authentic food, live entertainment, music, giveaways, cultural celebration, and community connection.

The festival will spotlight the taste and spirit of Trinbagonian culture, with visitors able to enjoy everything from mouthwatering doubles and bake and shark to rich buss-up-shut paired with savoury curry duck. Classic favourites, traditional dishes, and sweet treats will also be part of the experience, showcasing the depth, warmth, and flavour that make Trinidad and Tobago’s culinary culture so beloved.

Beyond the food, guests can look forward to a lively weekend of live performances, music, entertainment, and cultural programming that celebrates the creativity, rhythm, and pride of the Trinbagonian community.

This year’s event also marks a special milestone as Trinidad and Tobago celebrates 50 years as a republic, honouring its people, culture, and the legacy that continues to unite generations across the diaspora.
