From seasonal fruits and vegetables to baked goods, meats, cheeses, preserves, prepared food and handmade products, these markets bring together local farmers, producers, artisans and community organizations from across the city and surrounding areas.
Here is our list of farmers’ markets you can support across Toronto this August.
Dufferin Grove Organic Farmers’ Market
The Dufferin Grove Market serves as a bridge between local producers and a broad array of consumers within Dufferin and its surrounding communities. Expect lots of fresh produce, food and veggies, baked goods, and dairy.

The Stop’s Farmers’ Market
The Stop’s Farmers’ Market provides a wide variety of locally grown fresh produce, asparagus, strawberries, broccoli, cucumber, and more from local farmers around the Area!

The Black Creek Community Farm Market

Cabbagetown Farmers’ Market
Part of the Riverdale Urban Farming Inc. project, the Cabbagetown Farmers’ Market showcases farmers and producers offering sustainable food products within and in its surrounding communities. The Market is designed to challenge those living in cities to reconnect with their food sources and examine the food choices they make.

Evergreen Brick Works Saturday Farmers Market
One of the largest Farmers’ Markets in the Toronto Area, Evergreen’s Saturday Farmers Market provides a meeting place for Toronto communities to connect with local Ontario food producers!

North York Farmers’ Market
The North York Farmers’ Market provides the perfect place to shop for fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, maple syrup, and flowers. Shoppers will also find a fine selection of delicious breads, pastries, cheeses, cured meats, and much more!

Afro-Caribbean Farmers Market
Afro-Caribbean Farmers Market features fresh food, produce, and products from black farmers and farms in the Ontario Area. You can also find crafts and products from black-owned businesses at this market.

Junction Farmers Market
Hosted at Baird Park, The Junction Farmers Market provides local, sustainably produced fresh food that supports local food growers and producers and promotes access to healthy food for everyone who lives in and around the Junction.

Scarborough Farmers’ Market

Annette Village Farmers’ Market
