Canada’s largest and longest-running air show, The Canadian International Air Show, returns to Toronto’s waterfront this Labour Day weekend from September 5th to 7th for three days of daring aerial displays, aircrafts, and high-energy aerobatic performances.

Returning for its 77th edition, the Canadian International Air Show will bring some of the world’s most exciting aviation performers to the skies above Lake Ontario.

The Snowbirds Take Centre Stage

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will headline this year’s event in what is expected to be their final Canadian International Air Show appearance before beginning an extended hiatus.

The milestone performance will give audiences another opportunity to experience the team’s signature precision formations, coordinated manoeuvres and aerial displays over Toronto’s waterfront.

Military Jets and Aerobatic Teams

The 2026 edition will feature the Jack Aces Formation Aerobatic Team’s first Canadian International Air Show appearance. The United States Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team will also take to the skies, showcasing the speed, power, and precision of modern military aviation.

Another first-time participant is the Pink Jet, which will make its Canadian International Air Show debut during the Labour Day weekend.

Returning Performers and New Aircraft

Aerobatic pilot Trevor Rafferty will return to the show with the Christen Eagle, delivering another energetic aerial performance. Mike Tryggvason will also return, this time debuting a new Edge 540 V3 racing aircraft.

Together, the performers will present a packed weekend of precision flying, heritage aviation and aerobatic demonstrations.

On the Ground

Beyond the aerial displays, visitors can explore the show’s free STEM Zone. The interactive area will feature life-sized aircraft displays, virtual reality experiences and aerospace-themed exhibits designed to introduce visitors to aviation, science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The zone offers an additional experience for families, students and aviation enthusiasts attending the event. Guests can stop by the Refueling Station to enjoy a selection of food from local vendors throughout the day.

Visitors will also have opportunities to meet some of the air show’s featured performers and learn more about the pilots and aircraft participating in the weekend’s programming.

Canadian International Air Show Tickets

Tickets to the Canadian International Air Show include same-day admission to the Canadian National Exhibition grounds. This allows guests to experience the aerial performances before exploring the CNE’s rides, food vendors, entertainment and attractions.

With military aircraft, vintage warbirds, aerobatic teams and interactive programming, the Canadian International Air Show remains one of Toronto’s signature Labour Day weekend traditions.
