Over two days this summer, the famous TD Festival of South Asia returns for its 22nd edition in Toronto from July 21st to 22nd, running on Gerrard St. East, Toronto, from Coxwell Ave. to Glenside Ave.
A staple of the Toronto community, this epic cultural celebration will feature all-day main stage performances, dances, an arts and culture market, artistic workshops and activities, roaming entertainers along the street, a kid’s zone, and many fun activities.
For first-time goers, TD Festival of South Asia celebrates the diversity of South Asian culture in Toronto, providing a whole multi-cultural experience of South Asia’s tastes, sounds, sights, arts, and culture. Authentic cultural programs will showcase Indian, Afghani, Pakistani, Bengali, and Sri Lankan cultures.
Supported by TD, Last year’s edition brought over 200,000 visitors over the weekend, including visitors from outside Ontario and Canada.
Streets will be closed for this epic celebration. Expect lots of great food, entertainment, and fun!
