This Summer, the Taste of the Junction 2026returns for a one-day outdoor market and cultural celebration in the Toronto’s west end on June 27th in the Green P parking lot at 385 Pacific Avenue

Produced by The Junction BIA, this full day celebration will provide a full day of shopping, food, culture, creativity, and neighbourhood discovery. Coinciding with the festivities of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, the event reflects the city’s “The World in a City” spirit by celebrating the Junction’s rich cultural diversity through food, art, shopping, and community gathering

Guests can shop from local makers, enjoy food and drink, explore vendor booths for unique finds, and take in the sounds and energy from live DJ sets. A family-friendly Play Zone will also be on site, making it an accessible experience for all ages.

A signature highlight of this year’s event is Passageways, a series of five immersive, walk-in cultural installations created by local artists. Set within 10 x 10 foot tents, each installation transforms a compact space into a layered, photo-worthy environment filled with colour, texture, storytelling, and interactive elements. The installations celebrate five of the Junction’s largest cultural communities, including British, Black, South Asian, Chinese, and Portuguese cultures, and feature tactile components alongside audio guides accessible through QR codes for a multi-sensory experience.

Visitors are also encouraged to explore beyond the event grounds. The Junction is home to 11 permanent animated augmented reality murals that can be experienced using the free Artivive app. As Toronto’s only year-round AR destination, the neighbourhood offers self-guided mural tour maps online and at the Taste of the Junction booth, making it easy to discover and interact with public art throughout the area.

Located just minutes from Exhibition Place, Taste of the Junction offers a unique west-end destination for both locals and visitors exploring the city during a major summer.
