Tucked along Davenport Road, Louf Toronto is introducing the city to a refined yet deeply personal take on Palestinian cuisine. Blending elevated presentation with the warmth of home cooking, this Palestinian restaurant offers a dining experience that feels both intimate and transportive.

Located just minutes from Casa Loma, Louf Toronto is quickly becoming one of the city’s most distinctive cultural dining destinations, bringing authentic Palestinian flavors to the forefront of Toronto’s evolving food scene.

The Story Behind Louf Toronto
The story of Louf Toronto began with a simple Instagram message.
When Nicole first reached out to partner Chef Fadi Kattan for a Palestinian recipe, she never imagined the conversation would one day lead to opening a restaurant together. What followed was a growing friendship rooted in storytelling, culture, and a shared love for Palestinian cuisine.

Chef Fadi Kattan, known for elevating Palestinian cuisine on an international level, brings a thoughtful, deeply personal perspective to the restaurant. After being invited to Toronto to explore its diverse culinary scene, it was the city’s warmth and the way food connects communities that left a lasting impression.
In that moment, the vision became clear: Toronto was ready for a space that could present Palestinian cuisine in a way that felt both elevated and deeply authentic.

That vision became Louf Toronto.
The Space: A Warm, Home-Inspired Dining Experience
Louf Toronto feels less like a traditional restaurant and more like stepping into a thoughtfully designed home.
The space spans two floors, balancing openness with intimacy. The main floor features a bright 40-seat dining room framed by large windows that fill the space with natural light. Upstairs, a private dining room offers a more intimate setting for up to 10 guests, perfect for small gatherings and special occasions.

Soft lighting, natural textures, and an understated design create an atmosphere that feels calm, intentional, and welcoming, more like a dinner at someone’s home than a traditional night out.

During the summer months, a 16-seat patio extends the experience outdoors, offering a relaxed and inviting setting.
The Food: Authentic Palestinian Cuisine in Toronto
At Louf Toronto, authenticity is at the heart of everything. From the carefully sourced ingredients to techniques, each dish reflects the depth and tradition of Palestinian cuisine while being thoughtfully presented to Toronto diners.

One standout is the lahme nayyeh, a beautifully prepared Palestinian-style cured NY steak, finished with marjoram oil, pickled sea asparagus, and pickled ramps. It’s bold, refined, and layered with flavor (My personal favorite)

Another highlight is the bouza aarabiya, a traditional milk ice cream infused with mastic and topped with pistachio. Its unique texture and subtle flavor make it a memorable and distinctive dessert. (This is really, really good!!)

Other menu standouts include:
- Hummus bil lahma
- Hilbeh with maple syrup
- Lahme mashwiya (GF), a 12oz NY striploin served with green shatta salsa and taboun
Rather than reinventing tradition, Louf Toronto allows each dish to speak through quality, balance, and cultural integrity.
