Exclusive financial summer affair for Black women in Toronto
RBC and The Standard host an exclusive Money Moves: Show US The Money financial summer event for Black Women at the RBC WaterPark Place on July 8th in Toronto.
Attendees should expect a fun evening of connecting, collaboration, learning, and conversation addressing systemic barriers to employment advancement and the inclusion of Black Canadian women in Marketing and Finance. Attendees will also learn about strategies to fuel personal and professional career success and make fearless financial moves.
Hosted by CityNews reporter Faiza Amin, the event will also feature a town hall on all things finance, and an esteemed panel of Black experienced women leaders for an insightful discussion.
Event panelists include
- Krys (Deal) Lunardo – Founder of Dealbodies and Dauphine Magazine, Krys will share her story of building two businesses from the ground up, following her dreams, and balancing her professional life while creating a legacy in her personal life with her husband and children.
- Janey Buzugbe – Founder of Immuducation, Janey is an expert on helping people start and switch careers, making sure they are advocating for themselves, negotiating, and building the confidence to secure that bag.
- Reeva Goodman – Marketing Manager, RBC Royal Bank, Reeva knows the ins and outs of building a successful career at one of the biggest banks in Canada. She will be sharing her experience in accelerating her career and offering tips on how you can access the funds to build your dreams.
In addition, attendees will be able to shop from a Black and Woman-Owned marketplace at the event location.
