One of Toronto’s biggest summer festivals, BIG on Bloor, returns this July for its 20th anniversary celebration, bringing live performances, public art, music, food, cultural programming, and community energy to Bloor Street West.
Taking place on July 18th and 19th, the free two-day festival will transform Bloor Street West between Dufferin Street and Lansdowne Avenue into a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community.

Produced by Uma Nota Music and Production, this year’s festival will feature large-scale murals, interactive public art installations, hands-on art workshops, exhibitions, local food vendors, a curated marketplace, family programming, and hundreds of artists contributing to one of Toronto’s most vibrant street festivals.

This year’s event will also present an internationally inspired lineup of live performances celebrating music from around the world. Headlining the program are acclaimed singer-songwriter Elida Almeida from Cabo Verde and Colombian ensemble La Perla, alongside a diverse roster of local and international artists performing throughout the weekend.

New this year, BIG on Bloor introduces CEREMONY, a large-scale participatory public art experience transforming a neighbourhood side street into an immersive celebration of love, ritual, and community. Inspired by wedding traditions from around the world, the installation will invite festivalgoers to engage with art, culture, and collective celebration in a new way.
