This weekend, Dance on Yonge returns to Mel Lastman Square for two full days of dance showcases, live performances, music, food, family activities, multicultural programming, local vendors, and community celebration.

Returning for its fourth season, the free festival will bring more than 20 hours of outdoor programming to North York on July 11th and 12th, featuring champion dancers, K-Pop experiences, aerial arts, social dancing, food vendors, creative markets, and interactive activities.

Saturday’s program will run from noon into the evening, offering a full day of entertainment for families, friends, K-Pop fans, dance lovers, and festivalgoers.
Saturday highlights include:
- Canada K-Pop Dance Championship
- Hundred People K-Pop Random Play Dance Challenge
- K-Pop Demon Hunters Dance Workshop
- International dance champion performances
- Free adult dance workshops
- Kids Wonderland & Fairyland Garden Zone
- Aerial yoga experiences
To wrap up Saturday’s programming, the festival will bring Bachata on Yonge to the square, creating an outdoor social dance experience under the stars.

On Sunday, July 12th, the program continues with world-class dancers, aerial arts, multicultural performances, and interactive experiences.

- World Breakdance Champion Showcase featuring B-Boy Onton and B-Girl Konatsu
- Canada All-Star Aerial Championship
- Aerial silks and aerial dance experiences
- Dance with Ukraine
- Free dance workshops
- Kids’ arts and crafts
- K-Pop Random Play Dance
- National award-winning dance champion performances
- Star Dance Centre Performance Exhibition
- Hoor Dance Company Iranian Dance Performance
- Zumba with Coach Mahaam
Throughout the weekend, guests can also enjoy food vendors, crafts, DIY activities, face painting, and an artisan market.

To close the festival, audiences will have the opportunity to join champion dancers and performance teams on the square for a high-energy outdoor dance celebration filled with music and movement.

This year’s festival is expected to feature more than 1,000 dancers and performers, large-scale K-Pop Random Play Dance experiences, multiple champion-level dance performances, food and market vendors, family activities, aerial arts experiences, and audience-interactive programming.
