This weekend, Toronto is invited to explore the flavours and rhythms of the African and Latin diasporas at Taste of Culture: Travel the Diaspora, taking place at Stackt Market on September 6th.

Hosted by Jonah Events, the family-friendly cultural marketplace will bring together food, music, shopping and interactive experiences representing Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and Black American culture.

Built around the theme “One Destination. Many Cultures. Endless Experiences,” the event will invite guests to explore the diaspora through a vibrant marketplace experience.
Guests can collect passport stamps as they journey through cultural destinations inspired by communities across the African and Latin diasporas. Each stop will offer opportunities to sample different cuisines, discover more than 20 local businesses, and connect with the cultures represented throughout the event.
The marketplace will feature more than 20 local food, beverage, artisan, and cultural vendors, giving visitors the chance to experience authentic flavours while supporting local entrepreneurs.
Guests can also shop from fashion designers, beauty brands, artists, home décor vendors and makers offering handcrafted products on site while enjoying sounds from DJs throughout the celebration
Whether guests are looking to sample authentic food, celebrate their heritage, support local businesses, or learn more about African, Caribbean, Latin, and Black American traditions, the event will offer something for everyone.
