Toronto is getting ready to light up the sky for Canada Day with fireworks displays happening across the city this week on July 1st. Here is our list of places to catch the fireworks in the Toronto Area this year.

Toronto

Mel Lastman Square

Yonge North York BIA hosts its Canada Day Celebration, providing a thrilling day with a food and vendor fair, free arts and crafts, face painting, performances, and lots of fun activities.

There will also be a free kids zone with jumping castles, inflatable rides, activity stations, and a dazzling fireworks display to close the evening.

Downsview Park hosts its annual epic Canada’s Day celebration with live entertainment, performances, games for kids, inflatables, vendors, food trucks, and so much more.

The East York Toronto Canada Day Festival returns with a full day Canada’s Day celebration with family-friendly daytime activities and a free fireworks display.

Harbourfront Centre

Harbourfront Centre provides a full day of music, an outdoor marketplace showcasing 100% Canadian-made goods, live performances, and community pride by the lake. There will be a full lineup of free and ticketed programming in music, dance, comedy, food, and family-friendly activities, culminating in a dazzling fireworks show at 10:45 pm.
