On Canada Day, one of Toronto’s most historic landmarks will welcome families, visitors, friends, and communities for a free celebration at Queen’s Park.

Taking place at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, the free-to-attend celebration will feature special performances, live music across two outdoor stages and inside the Legislative Building, face painting, photo opportunities, self-guided tours, midway rides, inflatables, and entertainment for all ages.

Food will also be available for purchase from a selection of food trucks on site.
The day will begin with a high-energy parade led by Hitmen Drumline, followed by opening ceremonies hosted by Sam East and Astrid Moulin. Guests can also look forward to a national anthem performance by Natalie Morris and a cultural performance by Tribal Vision Dance.

Throughout the celebration, visitors can enjoy musical and special performances from Impulse Steel Orchestra, Benji Crane, Enchanted Strings, Surround Sound, Blessings Flute, Dance Migration, and a headline performance by The 99s.
Families can also expect a wide range of kid-friendly entertainment, including performances by Stunt Ventriloquist Tim Holland, Lei’ala Dance School, Sonshine and Broccoli, Magic Wij, and Wayland Li Wushu.

The event will also include circus workshops, visits from special characters, hula hoop and bubble fun zones, crafts, photo opportunities, midway rides, inflatables, and an interactive art installation with Keenan D’Abreo.
Guests can also take part in self-guided tours of the Legislative Building throughout the day. Visitors entering the building should note that security screening will be in place, and the last entry into the building is at 4:00 pm. You can view the schedule of activities here for more information.
