The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham takes over Downtown Markham from August 14 to 16, bringing three days of world-class motorsports, live entertainment, food, beer gardens and family-friendly activities to the Greater Toronto Area.
For the first time, the event will be held in Markham, where a new 12-turn, 3.52-kilometre temporary street circuit has been built through the eastern portion of the city’s downtown district. The course incorporates streets and areas near the Unionville GO station, Markham YMCA and Markham Pan Am Centre.
The weekend is headlined by the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, alongside NASCAR Canada and several development and sports-car racing series. Racing will take place throughout the weekend, culminating with the 90-lap Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham on Sunday afternoon.
Racing Series at the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham
Five racing series are scheduled to compete throughout the weekend:
- NTT INDYCAR SERIES
- NASCAR Canada Series
- USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire
- USF2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire
- Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin
NTT INDYCAR SERIES
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES is North America’s premier open-wheel racing championship, featuring an international field of drivers competing across street circuits, permanent road courses, short ovals and superspeedways.
The Markham event will serve as Round 14 of the 18-race 2026 INDYCAR season, with drivers taking on the new street circuit for the first time.
The main event takes place Sunday, August 16, with driver introductions beginning at 11:30 a.m. before the 90-lap Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham gets underway at 12:22 p.m.
NASCAR Canada Series
The NASCAR Canada Series brings some of Canada’s top stock-car drivers and teams to Markham.
The national championship competes across a mix of ovals, road courses, dirt tracks and street circuits throughout Canada. Markham marks one of two street-circuit stops on its 2026 calendar.
The NASCAR Canada race takes place Saturday, August 15, from approximately 4:45 p.m. to 6:05 p.m.
USF Pro 2000 Presented by Continental Tire
USF Pro 2000 is the third official step on the USF Pro Championships development ladder and has helped prepare rising drivers for higher levels of open-wheel racing.
The series is sanctioned by USAC and operated by Andersen Promotions, with its 2026 champion receiving a scholarship to advance to INDY NXT in 2027.
USF2000 Championship Presented by Continental Tire
The USF2000 Championship serves as the second step on the USF Pro Championships ladder.
The series provides emerging drivers with an opportunity to develop their skills and move toward the highest levels of professional open-wheel racing. The 2026 champion will receive a scholarship to advance to USF Pro 2000 the following season.
Emzone Radical Cup Canada Presented by Michelin
The Emzone Radical Cup Canada brings sports-car racing to the weekend with a field of Radical SR3 1340 race cars.
The single-make championship is one of Canada’s premier Radical racing series and gives fans a different style of racing alongside the open-wheel and stock-car action.
Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham Weekend Schedule
Friday begins with practice and qualifying sessions for several racing series, along with an NTT INDYCAR SERIES autograph session and opening practice.
Saturday features USF2000, Radical Cup Canada and USF Pro 2000 races, followed by INDYCAR qualifying and the NASCAR Canada Series race.
Sunday is headlined by the main NTT INDYCAR SERIES event, with the 90-lap Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham beginning at 12:22 p.m. Radical Cup Canada closes out the on-track schedule later that afternoon.

Free Fan Friday
One of the weekend’s biggest perks is Ontario Honda Dealers Present Free Fan Friday.
Friday general admission is available through a voluntary charitable donation, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the festival, practices, qualifying sessions and other activities while supporting a charitable initiative.
The Free Fan Friday program has raised more than $1.1 million through its various contributions in support of Make-A-Wish Canada.
Ride the Track
Visitors will also have a rare opportunity to experience the new Markham circuit themselves during The Children’s Breakfast Clubs Ride the Track on Friday evening.
The charity cycling event runs from approximately 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 14 and allows participants to ride bicycles around the temporary race circuit after the day’s motorsports activities conclude.
Proceeds support The Children’s Breakfast Clubs, which provides meals and programs for children and communities across the Greater Toronto Area.
The Glorious Sons Perform Saturday
The entertainment continues after the racing on Saturday with a live performance by The Glorious Sons.
The Canadian rock band will perform on the SiriusXM Stage in the 407 ETR Thunder Alley following the NASCAR Canada Series race, with the concert expected to begin at approximately 6:20 p.m.
The performance is included with admission for Saturday and two-day ticket holders.
Family-Friendly Activities
The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham is designed as more than a motorsports event, with food vendors, interactive displays and activities taking place throughout the festival grounds.
Children 12 and under receive free general admission when attending with a ticketed adult, adding additional value for families planning to spend the weekend at the event.
Young motorsports fans can also take part in the Rookie Racers program, which offers children an opportunity to engage with the racing world and learn more about the sport.

Both single-day and two-day tickets are available for the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham.
Two-day general admission starts at $90, while reserved grandstand options are also available.
Single-day ticket options are available for Saturday and Sunday, while children 12 and under receive free general admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham is a three-day motorsports festival centred around a new 12-turn, 3.52-kilometre (2.19-mile) temporary street circuit in Downtown Markham.
The 2026 event marks a new chapter for the race following its move from Toronto’s Exhibition Place to Markham under a multi-year agreement announced by the City of Markham, INDYCAR and event promoter Green Savoree Toronto.
