The Cookout Returns!
On July 19th, Jonah Events will host The Cookout, a vibrant celebration that brings together Toronto’s Black and Afro-Caribbean community, providing a full day of food, fun, live music, and family-friendly activities at the STACKT Market (28 Bathurst Street) in Toronto.
From soul food to street eats, live beats to bold art, guests should expect an interactive and family-friendly fun atmosphere, with STACKT Market’s contemporary public space providing
- Live Music and Sounds from DJs playing the best R&B, Afrobeats, Soca & Hip-Hop hits
- Food, Drinks, Food trucks + Drink stations
- A Vendor Market with over 30 vendors
- Art workshops & Glam Face Painting
- Interactive activities, Giveaways, and more
To add to the already lively vibes, there will also be a Caribbean dance performance courtesy of Carnival Spice and a steelpan Performance by Thadel Wilson during the event.

The Cookout is part of the Backyard Summer series by STACKT Market, held annually. Celebrate the Black community through food, music, and culture, featuring over 40 incredible vendors, local performers, and artists, and a site-wide experience that’s a full-on feast for the senses.
