February 22nd is a day to encourage everyone to learn about the magnitude of modern-day slavery within Indigenous populations across Canada so that we can take steps to combat human trafficking.
Join the Chippewas of the Thames for a day of learning from keynote speakers Cambria Harris and Tracey Whiteye. There will be concurrent seminar break-out sessions throughout the day, followed by a special panel with Patti Shawnoo, Reta VanEvery, Hallie Abram, Marilyn Halfday, and MaryAnn Kechego.
Breakfast – Lunch & Dinner will be provided with a special performance after dinner.
