George Brown College’s Alumni Relations Office hosts a special event for Black Futures Month at GBC with alum, Author, and entrepreneur Wes Hall for a fireside chat about how he overcame a challenging childhood, rising from a law firm mailroom to becoming a successful entrepreneur, founder of the BlackNorth Initiative, and the newest and first Black Dragon in the Dragon’s Den.
His newly released book ‘No Bootstraps When You’re Barefoot’ details his compelling life of resilience, determination, and triumph over obstacles. Discover the lessons he learned from his childhood, career milestones, and how he defied societal expectations. His journey serves as an inspiration for overcoming adversity and achieving success.
