Museum of Mississauga celebrates the launch of the Generation X Marks the Spot exhibition at Bradley Museum, an exhibition about Black history in Mississauga.
This mini-exhibition includes a timeline of events and media clippings from 1988, wherein a Mississauga shooting involving a Black teen spurred youths in the Black Action Defense Committee (BADC) to investigate police training, policies, and attitudes toward visible minorities.
Opening remarks begin at 6 pm in the Anchorage building. This project was funded through the Museums BIPOC Community Curator Program.
