$10,000 to $25,000 Grant Opportunity for Canadian Charities. Applications due by September 15th, 2023
Ecclesiastical, a specialist insurance company, is accepting applications for its community impact grant program.
About the Program
Established in 2017, the community grant program is open to all registered Canadian charities that align with Ecclesiastical’s values and deep-rooted commitment to “Greater Giving” — helping people in need and making a measurable impact on Canadian communities.
Ecclesiastical will award grants to charities that offer programs that positively and sustainably impact the community by benefiting youth, vulnerable and under-represented people or by supporting communities’ unique cultural programs.
Special consideration will be given to charities whose programs address the following key areas:
Environmental conservation with a human-centric approach.
Food security, hunger, and poverty related to food access and availability.
Vulnerable youth and families.
Available Funding
Up to CAD 10,000 to 25,000 of Grant Funds to cover program costs and expenses. Consideration will be provided to awarding grants in larger amounts based on program focus and need.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The eligibility criteria include
Organizations must be currently registered charities in Canada as defined by the Canadian Revenue Agency.
Only programs that must take place in Canada are eligible for Community Impact Grant funding.
Applications made within 1 year of a previous Community Impact Grant being approved or before an existing grant is acquitted are not permitted.
Grant requests must be for a specific program.
The program must be sustainable beyond the period covered under the grant.
Charities must be able to provide a charitable tax receipt for the full amount of the donation.
