In celebration of Black History Month, Lakeshore Arts, an organization that offers free and accessible arts programming to the Lakeshore community, and beyond, hosts a free-to-attend two-hour grounding & balancing workshop to help participants balance the mind and body on February 27th in Toronto.
Under the guidance of Mindful Art Facilitator, Micah Nelson, participants will embark on a healing sound journey and mindfulness practice, ensuring a high-quality experience to help balance the mind and body.
Participants will also explore supportive and healing practices and tools that can bring healing and grounding to our everyday lives. This will be followed by a simple yet visually artistic creative journaling practice, anchoring the practices and tools in a way that inspires creativity.
This workshop is a closed space tailored for members of the Black community. Interested participants can register here
