Dog lovers in the Greater Toronto Area can rejoice as the Barkham Festival 2025 returns this spring season at the historic Markham Museum on May 31st and June 1st, 2025.
This two-day doggo event will bring together over 4000 attendees, including pet enthusiasts, families, and local businesses, to celebrate the community’s passion for dogs, providing an unforgettable experience. There will be many fun things to do at this dog extravaganza. Attending guests should expect
- Barkham Cafè: Human-friendly Dog Cafè (Imagine waffles, lattes, and cannolis for your dogs!)
- Dog-Focused Vendor Market: Explore over 75+ vendors offering unique pet products and services.
- Breed Meetups: Every half an hour during the event, there will be a group photo shoot for breeds & their mixes
- Fun Activities for the Family: Pottery Classes, Button Making, Mini Putt, Games
- Activities for your Pups: Doggy Pawlympics, lure course, agility course, hoopers, and scent detection.
There will also be food trucks and a bar, live music, photo booths for doggos, and lots of fun activities. As part of giving back, there will be community engagements to support doggos, nonprofits, and charities on-site with dogs up for adoption, fostering, and educational purposes.

ABOUT BARKHAM FESTIVAL 2025
Since its first pop-up event in Markham 3 years ago with 25 vendors, the Barkham Festival has blossomed into a festival with over 75+ vendors, 250 partners and over 400 attendees.
New this year, there will be a family fun zone to ensure there is something for every family member to do. Kids under 10 and seniors over 65 get in for free.
