National Indigenous Peoples Day (Mississauga)
The City of Mississauga celebrates Indigenous culture, music, and tradition on June 21st at Celebration Square, featuring a host of exciting Indigenous voices and a powerful headline performance by Tanya Tagaq – Polaris Music Prize & JUNO award-winning Inuk throat singer known for her raw, genre-defying sound. Attendees will get the opportunity to shop handcrafted goods, jewelry, and more at the Artisan Marketplace, showcasing the work of Indigenous makers.
