March 4th and 5th – WIM Canada 2025 Summit

This March, YENSA Festival honors Black sisterhood and the contributions of Caribbean women in Canada through AFRICA VIBES: Afro-Caribbean & Sabar Dance Workshops. These workshops celebrate the resilience, joy, and empowerment found in Afro-Caribbean and Senegalese dance traditions. March 9th – International Women’s Day Yoga Fundraiser at 10XTO
10XTO, Toronto’s luxury private members athletic club, hosts its third annual International Women’s Day Yoga fundraiser event this March. The event will start with a 45-minute modern yoga (Vinyasa). Participants will then be guided through a breathwork and singing bowl sound bath.
Participants are encouraged to bring comfortable and warm clothing for stretches.

The City of Brampton celebrates the wholesome achievements and contributions of female Bramptonians to the City on International Women’s Day. There will be a fireside chat and intimate panel discussion with women leaders featuring Angel Massey-Singh, Kathleen Douglass, Sasha Leigh Henry, Joy Brown, Aman Kainth, and Jyoti Malik.
There will also be a marketplace to support women-owned businesses and network opportunities. The Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie hosts an International Women’s Day Luncheon to Celebrate women’s achievements, contributions, and resilience. This event will feature a special presentation from the Keynote Speaker, the Honourable Justice Joanna M. Shaw, Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario.
Proceeds from this event directly help women and children in our community recover and rebuild their lives after fleeing violence through many programs, counseling, and, of course, safe and affordable housing.
