The City of Hamilton hosts the third event of our “Indigenous Cycles” series, exploring the rich culinary heritage of our Haudenosaunee brothers and sisters. Chef Tawnya Brant of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory will prepare recipes that celebrate the Winter Solstice using traditional ingredients.
Join us for a candle-lit evening tour of the house decorated for Christmas, learn about Indigenous winter solstice traditions, and sample Chef Brant’s delicacies in the historic kitchen. We’ll conclude with a ceremonial drink and set New Year intentions.
