In honour of International Women’s Day, Oldowan Co. returns with Where Legacy Blooms, a culturally rooted community gathering celebrating BIPOC women and gender-diverse leaders who are shaping Toronto’s creative and cultural landscape on March 7th.

Now in its sixth edition, Where Legacy Blooms has become a meaningful space for recognition, storytelling, and collective growth, spotlighting the voices, labour, and leadership that continue to move the city forward. At a time when community-led spaces matter more than ever, this gathering centres joy, visibility, and intentional connection.

Designed for creatives, entrepreneurs, community organizers, artists, advocates, and allies, the event welcomes anyone looking to build genuine relationships and engage with Toronto’s vibrant BIPOC and gender-diverse communities.

Guests can expect an award ceremony honouring community leaders, a curated marketplace featuring women-owned, BIPOC, queer, and gender-diverse businesses, and an engaging community panel with local changemakers sharing insight, lived experience, and inspiration. Live entertainment will run throughout the event, creating an atmosphere that’s both celebratory and grounded.

Additional highlights include giveaway raffles and the beloved Legacy Builder Mixer Bingo, an interactive networking experience designed to spark authentic conversations, encourage collaboration, and help attendees connect with future partners, collaborators, and community members.

Whether you’re looking to expand your network, support local businesses, or celebrate community leadership, Where Legacy Blooms offers a welcoming space to show up, be inspired, and build legacy together.
