Canada’s biggest jazz festival for emerging artists, T.U. Jazz Fest 2025 (TUJF) returns to the Mel Lastman Square this weekend from August 29th to September 1st, providing 4 days of thrilling performances, chill vibes, food, and fun.
From old-time Jazz to fiery funk and Afro-Brazilian fusion, audiences can expect a rich diversity of Jazz sounds throughout the long weekend. With over 150 emerging artists performing, guests should expect captivating performances on two outdoor stages, including top emerging Canadian jazz artists and special guest appearances by JUNO Award-winning musicians. In addition to the performances, guests can explore the vendor featuring over 40 food and market vendors offering a global selection of eats and crafts from the very best Toronto vendors, courtesy of World Eats Market.
Those with a deep interest in Jazz can attend a free masterclass at the North York Centre Library’s Room 1 (2nd floor) on Saturday at 2 pm, delivered by one of Canada’s most in-demand jazz professionals, Jeremy Ledbetter. T.U. Jazz Fest.
