The grand opening of the historic St. Lawrence Market North Building will take place this weekend, May 10th, with a full-day street festival.
This epic celebration will feature live music, family activities, circus performances, giveaways, and more.
Guests will explore the stunning new space honouring over 200 years of market tradition with fresh local food and vibrant community spirit. Attending guests should expect
- Live music featuring performances by Priyanka, The Blues Angels featuring Prakash John and Mike Branton, Logan Staats, DijahSB, and Trash Panda Brass
- Kids’ activities with Arts Organization, Jamii
- Circus performances with the Hercinia Arts Collective that will wow the crowd!
- Delicious eats from local food vendors + a free BBQ (limited quantities)
- Giveaway, photobooth for instagrammable pictures, and community vibes
There will be a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Olivia Chow.
