$10,000 Grant Opportunity each for Five Black Female-Owned Businesses in Canada. Application closes on May 31st, 2024
SheaMoisture, one of Canada’s largest natural hair and body product retailers, is now accepting applications for its SheaMoisture Dream Fund Grant program. The SheaMoisture Dream Fund offers $10,000 each to five Black Female-Owned business owners in Canada.
About the Program
In partnership with The Diversity Agency, SheaMoisture provides Black female-owned businesses with the financial resources, networks, and entrepreneurial education needed to thrive via the SheaMoisture Dream Fund. All Dream Fund recipients will gain access to personalized Business Coach support via The Diversity Agency.
For a chance to receive one of five $10,000 grants, participants will create a short video sharing what makes their business unique and answer questions on how their business is situated to support growth in Black Communities.
Available Funding

$10,000 each to five (5) recipients for a complete grant of $50,000 to Black Female-Owned businesses in Canada.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Dream Fund Grant Program is available to Black Female-Owned business owners in Canada.
The eligibility criteria include

Applicants must be 18+
-
Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.

Be a founder or owner where the business is at least 50% owned by Black and female-identifying business owners.

Have a legally registered business in Canada employing at most 10 individuals.

Open to participating in SheaMoisture celebrations & engagements.

Must upload a video, complete written questions & intake form
To ensure transparency in selection, SheaMoisture Canada has partnered with The Diversity Agency to support the grant evaluation committee of black experts in business.
