The Toronto community will converge to celebrate the annual return of fantastic floats, bands, marchers, the Celebrity Clowns, and, of course, Mrs. Claus and Santa on November 24th for an epic Santa’s Parade bringing Santa’s magic to Toronto.
The Parade starts at 12:30 at Christie Pits, proceeds east on Bloor Street to St. George Street, then turns south and east on Hoskin Avenue to Queens Park Crescent. It will head south on Queens Park Crescent and University Avenue before turning east on Wellington Avenue. The Parade will continue south on Yonge Street to Front Street before ending at St. Lawrence Market. You can find the detailed route on the website.
This year’s Parade is expected to attract more than 750,000 people.
Before the Parade starts, the Holly Jolly Fun Run will take place at 11:45 a.m. A 5k fun run along the same route as the Santa Claus Parade. Two thousand runners are expected, and all proceeds will directly support the Santa Claus Parade.
In addition, Guests will enjoy complimentary cookies, milk, and holiday fun at Christie Parks before the Parade commences – courtesy of Circle K. Kids will get the opportunity to take pictures and write to Santa to be delivered to Canada’s Post. There will be surprises and freebies and a chance to see the floats up close before the Parade commences.
