Ontario Parks has announced it will hire over 1,500 students to support park operations across the province during the upcoming summer season. Ontario Parks is responsible for protecting some of the province’s most significant natural and cultural resources, managing a system of parks and protected areas designed to be sustainable while offering opportunities for inspiration, enjoyment, and education for visitors across Ontario.

The student roles provide a paid opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive environment, while working outdoors and contributing to the preservation of Ontario’s natural spaces.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for these student positions, applicants must:
Be currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution, or returning in the fall, or have graduated within the past six months
Be at least 15 years old
Be a resident of Ontario during the employment term
Be legally entitled to work in Canada

Maintenance Worker
Park Store Clerk
Administrative Assistant, and lots more

Pay, Hours, and Work Term
Student positions offer competitive hourly wages ranging from $17.60 to $18.45 per hour. Most placements are full-time, with schedules typically set at 36.25 or 40 hours per week, depending on the role and park.
