RBCxMusic & Prism Prize collaborate to support emerging Canadian Recording Artists and Filmmakers through the MVP Project Grant (Music Video Production Project Grants) valued between $5,000 and $15,000.

About the MVP Project Grant

The MVP Project Grant was established to support and promote emerging Canadian Recording Artists and Filmmakers. The fund is committed to providing opportunities to a diverse group of high-quality Canadian talent.

The MVP Project invites applications from all qualified applicants, especially those identifying as women, non-binary, LGBTQ, Indigenous, or a person with disabilities or a person of color, it aims to enable all artists and storytellers to explore their creativity, hone their filmmaking skills, and encourage growth and development within the music & film industries.

Available Funding/Prizing

• A maximum of $150,000 in total funding is available per round of the MVP Project. Funding will be dispersed as individual production grants between $5,000 and $15,000.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for this grant, artists must identify as an “Emerging Artist.” Visit the MVP site for more information on the eligibility criteria
