Rhythm and Blues Cambridge presents two hair workshops in partnership with Sassy Beauty Salon, Black Girl Excellence, and the Kingsbridge Community Association to help the families in the KW region take care of, honor, and celebrate their natural hair.
First Workshop
Sassy Miller, owner of Sassy Beauty Salon, will facilitate the first hair workshop focusing on protecting your hair.
Learn the art of roller setting techniques and other protective style methods that promote hair health and vitality.
Second Workshop
The Hair Workshop will be hands-on as we invite you to get creative. You will have the chance to work with assigned mannequins to create a beautiful hairstyle using learned techniques. Accessories will be provided.
Lunch is complimentary; there will be door prizes, donated hair products, and more.
