Canada’s largest botanical garden, Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG), once again transforms into a glowing autumn wonderland with its annual Great Pumpkin Trail, lighting up Hendrie Park in Burlington this October.
This spook-tacular event brings Halloween to life with the warm candlelit glow of hundreds of jack-o’-lanterns, festive activations, themed food and drink, and live entertainment throughout the gardens.
New this year, over 10,000 REAL pumpkins will be arranged in artistic displays and installations throughout Hendrie Park! There will also be an opportunity to
- Explore Hendrie Park while interacting with roaming entertainers and performers
- Enjoy a thrilling “The Witches” show that offers a visually stunning, immersive journey rooted in folklore, magic, and transformation
- Soak in the autumn air by the campfire zones with some campfire songs to get you going
Savor sweet and savory seasonal bites, hot drinks, and food-truck favorites to enjoy along the trail.
Those looking to explore the night can venture down The Great Pumpkin Trail to view beautiful pumpkin designs and check out unique Halloween installations – Do not worry, volunteers will be available to help direct you along the way.
RBG offers a separately ticketed 19+ event, RBG After Dark: Pumpkin Trail, on October 23rd. As always, you can keep up with all the fun happenings in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area on efosa.
