Black-Led Events happening in Ontario – November
Feels Likeย Homeย invites audiences to consider contemporary conversations around Home. With artists from across Africa and the diaspora, Sunday School strives to share diverse stories and perspectives that reflect their collaborative ethos.ย

ย Feels Likeย Homeย highlights work from three series:ย The Hair Appointmentย (2018) by Jeremy Rodney-Hall,ย Ten Toes Downย (2021) by Kreshonna Keane, andย Jump Ballย (2019โongoing) by Oโshane Howard and Joshua Kissi, foregrounding community, fashion, and culture at the intersection of art and education through a selection of photographs and video work.
Each project speaks to the unique and vibrant reflections of Black identities communicated by Sunday School, while further planting their roots beyond the digital realm โ forย Homeย is a tangible and intangible inhabited space.
This presentation is Sunday Schoolโs first major exhibition in Toronto, marking the agencyโs sixth anniversary as they continue to produce numerous projects in Toronto and around the globe.ย
Curated by Emilie Croning, Curatorial Assistant, Arts of Global Africa and the Diaspora.
