$25,000 Grant Opportunity for organizations that offer programs that focus on the physical, psychological and emotional safety of Ontarians. Application closes on January 31st, 2024.
For the fourth year running, Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution service provider, Hydro One, is accepting applications for its Energizing Life Community Fund 2024.
About the Program
Hydro One aims to support Ontario organizations and communities by funding projects focusing on Ontarians’ physical, psychological, and emotional safety through its Energizing Life Community Fund to build safer and more resilient communities.
Indigenous communities, municipalities, and charitable and non-profit organizations seeking funding to support programming for Ontario communities are eligible to apply.
Available Funding
Selected recipients will receive a grant of $25,000
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible, the organization must meet the following criteria
Organizations must fall into one of these categories.
An Indigenous community group
A Municipal community group
A Canadian registered charity or
A non-profit organization
Organization must also
Be non-politically affiliated
Be focused on improving community physical, psychological, or emotional safety
Be committed to cultural diversity in their communities through programs, services, and funding
Have operations in Ontario
Be able to report accurately and transparently on community investment activities and impact
Be willing to collaborate on stakeholder and employee engagement opportunities
