The City of Richmond Hill hosts its Doors Open Richmond Hill event providing a unique opportunity for the public to explore fascinating cultural and historic buildings across Richmond Hill for free this weekend.

- Richmond Hill David Dunlap Observatory
- Richmond Hill Heritage Centre
- Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club
- Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church
- Richmond Hill Sports Hall of Fame
- St. John the Baptist Community Church, Light on the Hill Church
- St. Mary and St. Joseph Coptic Orthodox Church
- St. Mary’s Anglican Church

Doors Open Richmond Hill is running in conjunction with the Richmond Hill Studio Tour. Local studios and artists open their creative spaces to visitors, allowing them to tour, interact with, and witness artistic processes that are not regularly displayed for the public.
Guests can also take a self-guided tour of the Museum of the Streets, browse and shop, and enjoy culinary delights from local businesses. This event is part of Doors Open Ontario, launched in 2002 by the Ontario Heritage Trust.
