This weekend, the Common Ground Dance Festival returns to Toronto’s Lee Lifeson Art Park, closing out the summer season in style with three days of dance, workshops, and community celebrations from September 18th to 20th.
Returning for its 5th edition, this year’s festival will include a diverse range of dance styles, from energetic and grounded to contemporary and traditional, in community workshops for all levels. The compelling performances will animate the park, and a dance party will bring everyone together in celebration.
Additionally, there will be charming and evocative mainstage performances featuring both student and professional dancers, accompanied by live music, as well as insightful artist talks that allow audience members to connect with the inspiring dancers and choreographers who bring the festival to life. You can view the complete schedule here.
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to soak up the vibrant atmosphere, the Common Ground Dance Festival is the perfect way to wrap up summer while experiencing the beauty and power of artistic expression in Toronto.
