Richmond Hill Public Library hosts a collage workshop that celebrates Black History Month, featuring artist Ehiko Odeh for a captivating journey into the world of hair and culture at Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow.

This collage workshop embraces the artistry of Indigenous hairstyles in Nigeria and the Americas, drawing inspiration from locally-made hair posters from Lagos, Nigeria, and Ebony and Jet magazines. Workshop participants will explore the fascinating history of hair fashion and the cultural significance of various hairstyles.

This program is for kids ages 9-15 years

Priority will be given to confirmed RHPL card holders.

Program dates: Feb. 10 / 12–1:30 pm.
