Great Food with Activism
This Canada Day, a group of local animal advocates will hand out free, delicious vegan burgers from Odd Burger’s location on Church Street (229 Church St., Unit 3, Toronto) in celebration of Canada Day and to raise awareness about the treatment of cows in the food industry.
Guests can expect to try the juicy burgers made from plant-based proteins and learn about healthy vegan alternatives. Vegan kits and coupons will also be handed out to attending guests.
“From mouthwatering meat-free burgers to animal-friendly poutine, there’s a vegan answer to any craving these days,” says animal activist Vikki Lenola. “We’re encouraging everyone to celebrate Canada Day with kindness by leaving cows and other animals off their plates.”
