The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital, hosts its inaugural and groundbreaking event focused on advancing research science on women’s mental health.
The conference will explore why women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals are more susceptible to many mental health disorders. We aim to understand better how unique biological and social experiences from puberty through menopause influence the risk for – and manifestation of – mental illness and the implications for treatment to create a healthier society.
