An enlightening event celebrating Black History Month with the screening of the award-winning film, “Soul on Ice” by Kwame Mason – a film that presents and retells the unknown contributions of Black athletes in ice hockey and the history of The Coloured Hockey League of the Maritimes.
This free event includes a film screening, live entertainment, light refreshments, and a fireside chat discussing the film and the history of the Coloured Hockey League. Soul on Ice mirrors Enroute 2 Success’ commitment to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of Black individuals in sports, through our free programming to create unique opportunities for youth to learn critical skills, connect, and thrive.
