Nathaniel Dett Chorale, Canada’s first professional choral group dedicated to Afrocentric music of all styles, hosts their Christmas concert featuring Nguzo Saba Suite by Glenn Edward Burleigh, as well as works in praise of the Black Madonna by Bax, Carter, Casals, Courtney, Łukaszewski, and Poulenc.
The repertoire also commemorates significant anniversaries of several composers’ death and birth.
