One of Toronto’s most historic landmarks will become a living canvas of light, music and storytelling this November as CELESTIA Toronto makes its Canadian debut at The Cathedral Church of St. James.

Opening November 6th, 2026, and running through the end of the year, the multisensory experience combines 360-degree projection mapping, original orchestral music, immersive soundscapes and visual storytelling, inviting visitors to experience the cathedral in a new way.

Created by Paquin Entertainment Group in collaboration with award-winning, Montreal-based Normal Studio, the production draws on the cathedral’s soaring architecture, remarkable acoustics and rich history. Light and imagery will move across its interior, with the historic setting becoming part of the story itself.

Designed to connect with audiences across languages, ages and backgrounds, CELESTIA tells its story through music and visuals, offering a shared cultural experience for families, art and music lovers, and visitors to Toronto.

On select Friday and Saturday evenings, a vocal ensemble will perform alongside the orchestral score, bringing an added layer of live music to the experience.

With light moving across its historic interior and orchestral music filling the space, CELESTIA Toronto offers a new way to experience one of the city’s most storied landmarks. Whether you’re planning a family outing, an evening with friends, or a cultural stop during the holiday season, the experience brings together art, music, and architecture in a memorable setting.
