BMO, in collaboration with Deloitte Canada, today announced the launch of the 2026 BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program, an annual program dedicated to supporting real financial progress for women-owned businesses.

Through the program, 10 women-owned businesses will each receive a $10,000 grant, along with mentorship and access to tailored resources designed to accelerate business growth.
Each selected recipient will also be paired with a BMO for Women Advocate and gain access to opportunities including BMO for Women programming, educational events, organizational memberships, a feature on bmoforwomen.com, and a digital BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program recipient social badge.
The program is designed for women-owned businesses that can demonstrate measurable, community‑building impact while advancing at least two United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Available Funding and Opportunities
Through the program, 10 selected recipients will receive:
- $10,000 grant to support their small business
- Access to BMO for Women programming and educational events
- Mentorship from a BMO for Women Advocate
- Organizational memberships and professional resources
- A feature on bmoforwomen.com and A digital recipient social badge
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program, business owners must meet the following requirements:
- Must not have received a previous BMO Celebrating Women Grant
- Must be a Canadian resident who has reached the legal age of majority in their province or territory
- The business must be 51% or more owned and controlled by individuals who identify as women or non-binary
- The business must be for-profit, active, and legally operating in Canada
- The business must have annual revenue of at least $50,000 CAD
- The business have been operating and selling a product or service for at least two years as of April 2, 2026
- The head office or principal place of business must be located in Canada
