Runs through December – The Junction’s 6th Annual Window Wonderland
The Junction presents Window Wonderland, a one-of-a-kind public art exhibition that transforms the Junction into an immersive, open-air gallery featuring animated storefront windows and augmented reality (AR) murals.
Created in partnership with global AR platform Artivive, the experience merges digital animation with physical murals and storefront displays. Visitors can download the FREE Artivive app, point their phones at participating sites, and watch the artwork come to life.

December 14th – Loreena McKennitt: Under A Winter’s Moon
Celebrate the holiday season with Juno Award-winning artist Loreena McKennitt and her enchanting Under A Winter’s Moon concert, a live performance of carols and tales that blends Celtic, Indigenous, and Welsh cultures. The show also features Gemini Award-winning actor Cedric Smith narrating the magical “A Child’s Christmas in Wales.” It begins with Ojibway artist Christin Dennis, also known as Gzhiiquot/Fast Moving Cloud, presenting the story of Skywoman.
Performing with Ms. McKennitt are Caroline Lavelle on cello and recorders, Ojibway artist and flautist Jeffrey “Red“ George, and members of the Celtic group The Bookends, including Errol Fischer on fiddle, Pete Watson on guitar and bouzouki, Cait Watson on Irish whistle, and Romano DiNillo as guest percussionist. Prepare to be transported to a world of music and spoken word that connects with our past and awakens the spirit of the season with such favourites as “Coventry Carol,” “Good King Wenceslas,“ and the “Huron Carol.”
