The City of Mississauga has opened applications for its Small Projects Grant Program (SPG), providing funding to not-for-profit community organizations and Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) registered in the City of Mississauga’s Community Group Registry Program.
This grant supports organizations in delivering programs and services that keep Mississauga residents active, healthy, and engaged in their communities.
Applicants can request funding up to $2,500 to support project or program-related expenses for organizations that extend the variety and choice of programs and services for Mississauga residents and can be delivered successfully by December 2026.
The Small Projects Grant Program supports projects and activities that include
- Skill-building activities (e.g., digital skills, leadership, mentorship training, etc.)
- Community Building activities, such as events to meet neighbours and make connections, workshops, and skill-building sessions
- Active living and physical health programs and events
- Improvements or changes to enhance existing programs, reach new audiences, and remove barriers to participation.
- New programs and/or services
Available Funding and Prizes
$2,500 to support project or program-related expenses for organizations that extend the variety and choice of programs and services for Mississauga residents and can be delivered successfully by December 2026.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligible businesses must
- Be providing programs and services open to the public and intended only for Mississauga residents
- Be located and active in Mississauga and operate year-round
- In good standing with the City of Mississauga
