July 17th – Toronto Outdoor Picture Show (SPEED SISTERS)
The Toronto Outdoor Picture Show offers an open-air film experience with magic at four home parks across Toronto: Fort York, Christie Pits, Corktown Common, and Bell Manor Park, throughout the summer season.
This weekend, Attendees can watch SPEED SISTERS at the vibrant East End Park, Corktown Common. Speed Sisters is the first feature-length documentary by Lebanese-Canadian Director Amber Fares. Speed Sisters gives audiences an under-the-hood look at the first and only all-women car racing team in Palestine. Paired with short films Mawtini (My Homeland) and Unibrow, celebrate sisterhood with us at Corktown Common!

The Pan American Food and Music Festival is a celebration of the rich diversity of cuisine, music, and art in the Western Hemisphere. On July 19th, Jonah Events will host The Cookout, a vibrant celebration that brings together Toronto’s Black and Afro-Caribbean community, providing a full day of food, fun, live music, and family-friendly activities at the STACKT Market (28 Bathurst Street) in Toronto.
