The 2025 Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) returns this Labour Day weekend for its 76th edition, showcasing exhilarating and beautiful aircraft performances at the Marilyn Bell Park from August 30th to September 1st. The event will run in tandem with CNE, Canada’s Largest Annual Exhibition in the Toronto Area.

Overview
Returning for its 76th season, this event will feature a variety of aerial demonstrations, including performances by the **Snowbirds**, the Canadian Air Force aerobatic team, as well as modern fighter aircraft such as the CF-18 Hornet among others. Guests can also admire historic and civilian aircraft, as well as aerobatic displays and exhibitions by renowned aerobatic pilots.
Also, there will be opportunities to meet and greet with pilots and performers.
Getting to the Show
The Exclusive Air Show Zone is situated within Marilyn Bell Park in downtown Toronto, directly in front of the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex and the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) Fair. Amazing parks and exciting exhibits surround this location. With CNE running concurrently, parking will be very limited. The 2025 Canadian International Air Show will feature performances from
- Canadian Forces Snowbirds
The Snowbirds are the Canadian Armed Forces’ most recognized and celebrated icon. They have been Canada’s Air Demonstration team since 1971, flying the venerable Canadair CT-114 Tutor. Their iconic nine-plane formation will provide an expectational display for audiences.
- F-35 Demonstration Team
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is the new family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole aircraft developed to fulfill fighter jet requirements
- Luke Penner Extra 330SC
Luke Penner, a highly accomplished aerobatic pilot and flight instructor from Manitoba, will fly his Extra 330SC this year.
- Northern Stars – Pitts Team
Northern Stars is an exceptional Canadian aerobatic team that performs a thrilling precision routine featuring the Pitts Special S-2 at the Toronto Waterfront.
- P-51 Mustang Heritage Flight
The P-51 Mustang Heritage Flight is piloted by Jim Beasley Jr., offering a display of a modern fighter flying side by side with a vintage fighter in a dramatic showcase of air power.
- CF-18 Demonstration
Acquired as Canada’s new fighter aircraft in 1982, the McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet is a multirole, twin-engine ready to soar in the Toronto skies.
- Trevor Rafferty Pitts 12
Built by successful international aerobatics competitor, airshow performer, and flight instructor Trevor Rafferty. The modified Pitts 12 is a traditional-looking biplane with a 1930s barnstormer appeal, but it boasts 400 horsepower and is extremely lightweight.
- Ministry of Natural Resources – CL-415 Water Bomber
The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) CL-415 Water Bomber is a heavy amphibious aircraft purpose-built for collecting large quantities of water from natural water bodies, such as lakes, and dropping the water from the air onto forest fires.
