Na-Me-Res Pow Wow, the annual community festival celebrating Canada’s National Indigenous Peoples Day, returns on Saturday, June 21st from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Fort York National Historic Site.
This free-to-attend, family-friendly event will feature traditional dancing, drumming, and performances that reflect the richness and unique offerings of Indigenous culture in Toronto.
Guests will be able to experience and celebrate the heritage and learn about the diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Metis cultures across Tkaronto (Toronto) and Canada. There will be be craft and food vendors selling products giving attendees the unique opportunity to shop from Indigenous vendors. The grand entry begins at noon.
